Mold Remediation
24-Hour Mold Inspection, Containment & Remediation · Residential & Commercial
Inspection, containment, HEPA filtration and safe removal — then we fix the moisture source and rebuild.
Mold Remediation, handled end to end.
Mold only needs moisture, warmth and time — and after a leak or flood it can take hold in as little as 48 hours, often hidden inside walls, under floors and in ductwork. You can never remove every microscopic spore from a building, so the real goal is remediation: finding and fixing the moisture source, containing the affected area, and bringing mold back down to safe, natural levels. Tri-Tech follows industry-standard containment and air-filtration methods, then — because we're a licensed general contractor — repairs whatever had to be removed.
Inspection & assessment
We find the moisture source and map the mold, including the growth you can't see behind walls and under floors.
Containment
Sealed barriers and negative-air pressure keep spores from spreading to clean areas while we work.
HEPA air filtration
Air scrubbers and HEPA filtration capture airborne spores and clear the air throughout remediation.
Moisture-source correction
Mold always comes back if the water doesn't stop, so we fix the leak or humidity problem at the root.
Contents cleaning
Salvageable belongings are cleaned, treated and deodorized; unsalvageable items are documented for your claim.
Restoration
Drywall, flooring and finishes that had to be removed are rebuilt to pre-loss condition.
Every mold job includes
One licensed team from emergency response to final rebuild — nothing handed off, nothing falling through the cracks.

Our mold remediation process
Emergency Contact
The process starts the moment you call. We gather the details and dispatch a technician to assess the situation quickly.
Inspection & Mold Assessment
We inspect the property for visible and hidden mold, using moisture readings to trace the water source and map the full extent of the growth.
Mold Containment
We seal off the affected area with physical barriers and negative air pressure so spores can't spread to clean parts of the building while we work.
Air Filtration
Air scrubbers and HEPA filtration run throughout the job to capture airborne mold spores and keep the air clean.
Removing Mold & Infested Materials
We treat mold with antimicrobial and sporicidal agents and remove mold-infested materials like drywall and carpet that can't be saved, bagging and disposing of them safely.
Cleaning Contents & Belongings
We clean, sanitize and deodorize furniture, belongings and restorable items, treating both the surfaces and the air for lingering odor.
Restoration
Finally, we rebuild what had to be removed — from a few panels of drywall to larger reconstruction — and correct the moisture source so the mold doesn't return.
Where mold hides
Mold rarely announces itself — by the time you can see or smell it, it's usually been growing out of sight. These are the places we check first.
Behind walls & under floors
Where leaks and spills soak into drywall, subfloor and framing and grow unseen for weeks.
Bathrooms & plumbing
Constant moisture around showers, sinks and supply lines makes these the most common mold spots in a home.
Crawl spaces & basements
Damp, poorly ventilated low areas that trap humidity against wood and insulation.
HVAC & ductwork
Systems that circulate spores through the whole building and keep re-seeding growth if they aren't cleaned.
Common questions, answered.
Do I really need professional mold remediation?
Usually, yes. Mold spreads fast and hides inside walls, under floors and in ductwork where surface cleaning can't reach, and if the moisture source isn't fixed it simply returns. Professionals find the source, contain the area so spores don't spread, and remediate to a recognized standard.
Isn't a little mold harmless?
Mold can produce allergens and irritants that affect people with allergies or asthma, and left alone it rots wood and undermines structure. Even a small amount with an active moisture source is worth addressing before it grows.
Can you remove all of the mold?
No — and anyone who promises to is misleading you. Microscopic mold spores exist naturally everywhere; the goal of remediation is to remove active growth, bring spore levels back down to a natural baseline, and fix the moisture so it doesn't come back.
Can I stay home during remediation?
Often you can, depending on how widespread the mold is and where it's located. We build containment and run negative air so the work area is isolated from the rest of the home, and we'll advise you based on your specific situation.
What about 'black mold'?
The color of mold doesn't tell you how risky it is. Any significant indoor mold growth with a moisture source should be handled carefully and professionally — we treat every type with the same containment and safe-removal process.
Does insurance cover mold?
Sometimes. Mold is more likely to be covered when it results from a sudden, covered water loss and less likely when it stems from long-term leaks or neglect. We document the cause and the work and help you coordinate the claim.
How do I keep mold from coming back?
Fix leaks quickly, control indoor humidity, dry any wet materials within 24 to 48 hours, and keep bathrooms and crawl spaces ventilated. Remediation only lasts if the underlying moisture problem is solved — which is why we always address the source.
We work directly with your carrier.
Fire, water and smoke losses are covered by most homeowner and commercial policies. We document the damage, coordinate with your adjuster, and bill your insurance directly — so recovery starts now, not after the paperwork.
